Pre-Delivery Foundations and Delivery AccessProviding A Suitable FoundationWherever you decide to install your hot tub, it is essential that a solid foundation be provided (grass is unsuitable). Please note: it is the responsibility of the owner to provide a suitable base that is both flat and level to prevent distortion from occurring. Any structural damage caused by improper installation on an inadequate foundation is not covered in our warranty. 1. Outdoors
2. Indoors
Delivery AccessPlease make sure before the date of delivery that there is sufficient clearance for the hot tub and its trolley. We recommend that you plan a delivery route so that there will be no unexpected problems on the day of installation. Please note: if a route is not planned and we are unable to make the delivery, the cost of a second visit will be charged to you. Check Your ClearanceCheck the width of doorways, passages and gates to make sure the spa can pass. Gates, fences and doors may need to be removed. Make sure that there is nothing protruding such as drainage pipes or sills that could obstruct the way. Check to see if there are any low roofs or branches that would hinder vertical clearance. If there are any corners on the path to your designated installation site, check to see that the spa will pass. Check that there are no steep slopes, retaining walls or large amount of stairs that could cause problems. (Ramps must be supplied to overcome such problems). Under special circumstances, where there is no clear and easy route, a crane can be used to deliver your spa. However please note, the cost of a crane will not be included in the cost of delivery and you will need to make the booking arrangements in advance to coincide with the expected delivery date.
